Turning passion into growth for Munda Biddi
The Koola team worked with the board at Munda Biddi Trail Foundation to turn their passion and vision into growth by transforming their old website into a volunteer, membership and information portal for the organisation.
The Munda Biddi Trail Foundation supports riders, coordinates volunteers, and informs the community about our one-of-a-kind bikepacking trail that stretches over 1 000km from Mundaring to Albany in South-West Western Australia.
We were excited about the opportunity of working with a group of passionate volunteers and board members to showcase this incredible foundation, trail and country.
A Koola website for Munda Biddi Trail Foundation
Our journey with the Munda Biddi Trail Foundation started in 2020 when we began helping out with social media and website updates. The foundation received funding to create a new website, and we wanted to ensure the team got a good website they could manage and grow. But would also help the organisation showcase their vision for the trail and attract more riders and tourists to use the trail.
The site needed to showcase the incredible trail and provide a lot of information to riders. It also needed to help the organisation manage and grow memberships, take payments and renew members. We also wanted to make sure that partners, sponsors and volunteers could be showcased on the site and use it for their needs.
The Koola result
Koola is really proud of the support we could give to Munda Biddi Trail Foundation. We were able to deliver them a functional website that ticked all the boxes in terms of showcasing the trail, highlighting information, and supporting new and existing members with a gated member's sign-in area. The Munda Biddi Trail Foundation has been able to transfer all its memberships over to the membership portal, which now allows members to sign up, pay and renew automatically on the site. This cuts down on the admin for the team and increases the number of memberships they can now support.
So what’s next for the Munda Biddi Trail Foundation and Koola?
As we continue to work with Munda Biddi Trail Foundation, we will support them in growing and renewing memberships and, at the same time, growing the use of their Munda Biddi Trail by riders and tourists to Western Australia.
